The Lake, the mountains and the greenery all around keep the climate quite salubrious and rather cool throughout the year. The steep hills behind the House keep it safe from harsh and cold winds in the rainy and winter seasons, with the vast expanse of water in the Kamarajar Lake keeping the temperature moderate without rising above 20 or falling below 8 degrees. The greenery brings in conventional showers besides the usual monsoon rains received during the July-August and October-November months.
